Mike Ellis received his diploma in acupuncture from Collège Rosemont in Montreal, Quebec. He is currently registered with CMAAC (the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada) to practice in New Brunswick. He was previously a licensed member of the Ordre des acupuncteurs du Québec from 2019 to 2026 and ran his own clinic in the Outaouais region of Quebec.

Mike first became interested in Oriental medicine when he travelled to Japan for work and to pursue his passion for martial arts. He spent over 8 years in Japan during which time he learnt manual therapies, medicinal plants and other traditional practices.
